just a simple dream

this is a painting I did for a Dream contest , even though I know I up againest some of the most learned and talentest artist , I think its my best work to date , what do you think ? it was inspired by my grandparents and great grandparents , just a simple little dream , of love laughter and growing old together still being in love and laughing

after working all day on a painting Im doing for another contest , photoshop started acting up on me , so I decided to stop for a while and go on Secondlife , which Ive not really been on since before we started to move and not much time after we got here , but anyway , As everyone know's Hispa and Swee opened up another RP sim The Ancient Mayan Empire .' I have been wanting to go see it and finally tonight I decided to go and I'm glad I did , took me half the night to find the right things and look so that I would not be againest the rules , Should have known there would have been freebies there for vistor's but oh well . The builder is Swee and she is doing everything to the time period and the detail is awesome. The buildings are like looking at a photograph, Everything there is like what the Mayans left behind for everyone to see. I found one place and of course clumsy me I fell in and couldnt get out , I think I found the calander room , I had to take pictures , so the first picture is the place I fell into ,, Great work Swee , and those that have not visted there yet should ,

Rant !!!!!!!!!!!

ok Im on a Rant now , Why is it that EVERYTIME a not going to say White people , but I did , but anyway WHY is it EVERYTIME you see a Painting or a drawing of Native American Woman she is always in a Eagle Headdress ? or she is Nude with lips that Dont even look like they belong on her , COME ON , if your going to generalize the women of the Native Americans Please Do your dadjim homework and Find out what Tribe you are Drawing from , NOT all and Especially the women wore Eagle Headdress, I get so pissed off about this its not even funny. the one good thing is that they are NOT trying to say its Native work if so I really would do something , So many Native Americans have had their work Stolen and other Artist that are not Native american getting all the credit for work that should have been credited to the True artist . Ok this all comes from a Artist website that Im on , looking through some of the other artist work , I come across this and it Pissed me off so much I had to Rant about it , there have been others but I was nice and informed them of the mistake first of all because they were not from the United States and therefore did not have the knowledge that most here in the States have , but when I see someone from the States doing just this ,, Man I want to take their Stuff and well wont say where I want to ram it , lets just say they wouldnt be able to walk right with out some scratching somewhere . Well now got that out ,, think Im ok now ,
